She notched her first career hat trick in a 5-0 rout of New England College, scoring the first, third, and fifth goals of the contest. She scored the first goal of the match in a 2-0 league win at Plymouth State, launching a long shot from just outside the box in the 32nd-minute. Green capped the week with one goal and one helper in a 6-0 triumph over Colby-Sawyer Sunday to cap the week. She earned her first career assist as Maggie McKearin gave the Spartans a 1-0 lead in the 12th-minute, and then scored the second goal of the game on a long ball from Becky Hannwacker. Green now leads the Little East with six goals through 10 games. Defensive Player of the Week Gwen Bridges (Marshfield, Mass.) - Junior - Vermont State Castleton Bridges led a back line that posted three clean sheets this week for the Spartans as they improved to 4-6-0 overall and 1-2-0 in Little East play this season. She chipped in offensively as well, being credited with an assist off a corner kick from Maggie Parker she redirected to Emma Patrissi for the second goal in Castleton’s 2-0 win at Plymouth State. Co-Goalkeeper of the Week Marina Cassano (Broomfield, Colo.) - Freshman - UMass Dartmouth Cassano picked up her first Little East win in net for UMass Dartmouth after defeating Western Connecticut 3-1 on Saturday afternoon. The rookie goalkeeper made 11 total saves and conceded just one goal in the contest, which came from a penalty kick. Oceanna Orlandi (East Greenwich, R.I.) - Freshman - Rhode Island College Orlandi made eight saves as Rhode Island College improved to 3-0 in the Little East with a 2-1 win at Southern Maine on Saturday, handing the three-time defending LEC champions their first loss in league play since 2022. She stood strong in net as the Huskies outshot the Anchorwomen 26-9 in the contest.
