Beverly, Mass.—Rhode Island College saw its season come to an end in a 4-0 loss vs. Goucher in first round action of the 2025 NCAA Div. III Men's Tennis Championship, hosted by Tufts at the Bass River Tennis Club on Friday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• Goucher picked up wins at No. 1 and No. 3 doubles to earn the match's first point. Senior Noah Morin (Smithfield, R.I.) and freshman Travis Chartier (Rehoboth, Mass.) suffered a 6-2 loss at No. 1 doubles.
• The Gophers won in straight sets at No. 1, 3 and 4 singles to clinch the win.
• The loss snapped the Anchormen's 12-match win streak.
• RIC, which was the Little East Regular Season and Tournament champion, was making the program's first-ever appearance in the NCAA Div. III Men's Tennis Championship.
