Three LEC Women’s Lacrosse Standouts Named All-America by USA Lacrosse Magazine

PROVIDENCE, R.I. - A trio of Little East Conference (LEC) women’s lacrosse stars earned All-America Honorable Mention from USA Lacrosse Magazine, it was announced by the publication Tuesday. Plymouth State University had a pair of honorees in Megan Gaspa and Jenna Stowell, and were joined by Western Connecticut State University’s Molly Bresnahan.
 
Gaspa started in each of her 20 games played, totaling 20 goals, five assists, 87 draw controls, 63 ground balls and 62 caused turnovers. The graduate student was named the LEC Defensive Player of the Year led the league in caused turnovers, ranked second in ground balls and was fifth in draw controls. She ranks fourth in NCAA Division III in caused turnovers and is 11th in caused turnovers per game (3.10).
 
Stowell also started all 20 games this season for PSU, totaling 36 goals, 11 assists, 165 draw controls, 45 ground balls and 18 caused turnovers. The senior midfielder and First Team All-LEC selection led the conference and ranks fourth in NCAA Division III in draw controls, her 8.25 draw controls per game rank sixth in the country.
 
Bresnahan started in all 20 games for WestConn this season, posting a 17-3 record with an 8.84 goals against average and .514 save percentage. Named the 2025 LEC Goalkeeper of the Year, the senior led the LEC in saves (182) and save percentage and wins, while ranking second in goals against average and saves per game. She ranks 13th in NCAA Division III in saves, is 15th in the country in save percentage, and is 36th in the nation in goals against average.
 
Bresnahan backstopped the Wolves to a 17-3 overall record and the 2025 LEC tournament title for the third time in five years, giving them the LEC’s automatic berth in the NCAA Division III Championship Tournament. They opened the national tournament with a victory over the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy before falling to Rowan University.
 
Gaspa and Stowell helped lead the Panthers to an overall record of 16-4 and the 2025 LEC regular season title with an undefeated record in league play. They advanced to the 2025 LEC tournament final, and received the first at-large selection into the NCAA tournament in conference history. Plymouth State went 1-1 in the national tournament, defeating Marymount University before falling to York College of Pennsylvania.
