PROVIDENCE, R.I. - University of Massachusetts Boston junior back Ian Visnick has been named a 2025 United Soccer Coaches Third-Team All-America selection, it was recently announced by the coaches association.
Visnick, who is a sport leadership major with a 3.90 grade point average, started in all 21 games for the Beacons this season, helping them capture the 2025 Little East Conference (LEC) Championship Tournament title and advance to the Second Round of the 2025 NCAA Division III Championship Tournament.
Visnick was named the 2025 LEC Defensive Player of the Year after leading a defensive unit that allowed the fewest goals in the conference during the regular season. UMass Boston allowed just six goals in conference play and 14 goals through their 17 regular season contests. He was also named a First Team All-LEC selection, and was named Second Team All-Region and Second Team Scholar All-Region by the United Soccer Coaches.
UMass Boston finished the season with an overall record of 13-4-4, and as the 23rd-ranked team in the nation according to the final USC Division III Coaches’ Poll.
