Spartanburg, S.C.--Senior Haley Oliver (Coventry, R.I.) placed 75th (22:36.80) at the 2025 NCAA Div. III Women's Cross Country Championship, held at the Roger Milliken Cross Country Course at Converse University on Saturday afternoon.
THE BASICS
• RIC did not score as a team. NYU won the NCAA National Championship with a team score of 79.0.
• There were 290 runners at the meet, which was a 6k.
HOW IT HAPPENED
• Oliver was making her second career appearance at the NCAA Championship. She placed 165th as a junior in 2024, and improved of 90 spots.
• Oliver earned All-New England and All-Mideast Championship honors with a 19th place finish (22:35.30) at the 2025 NCAA Div. III Mideast Women's Cross Country Championship hosted by St. Lawrence in Canton, N.Y. on Nov. 15.
• She was named the Little East Women's Cross Country Runner of the Year, First Team All-Little East and was the LEC's Individual Champion with a first place finish (21:32.40) for the third consecutive season at the 2025 Little East Women's Cross Country Championship, hosted by Keene State on Nov. 1.
