Player of the Week

Jimmy Fallon (Milton, Mass.) - Junior - Forward - Babson
Fallon was terrific over the weekend as he tallied four goals while potting a pair of game-winners as No. 15 Babson stayed unbeaten with a pair of one-goal victories. The junior forward recorded his second career hat trick in Friday’s 4-3 win over Norwich and followed it up with the go-ahead goal at 16:44 of the third period as the Beavers erased a 3-1 deficit to defeat Vermont State Castleton, 4-3, on Saturday. 

Goaltender of the Week

Brandon Shantz (San Antonio, Texas) - Graduate Student - Plymouth State
Shantz made 38 saves in his lone start of the week, helping the Panthers rally past UMass Boston, 3-2, on Saturday afternoon. Shantz came up big in the second period with 23 stops in that frame alone, and added an assist on PSU’s first goal of the contest.

Rookie of the Week

Etienne Tremblay-Mathieu (Quebec City, Quebec) - Freshman - Defenseman - Plymouth State
Tremblay-Mathieu poured in six points with a goal and five assists in a 2-0 week for the Panthers. He had a huge game in a 7-1 win over UMass Dartmouth on Friday, scoring a power play goal and adding three assists on his way to finishing as a +3 in the contest. In Saturday’s 3-2 win over UMass Boston, Tremblay-Mathieu assisted on the game-tying and game-winning goals.
