Keene State Field Hockey Heads to No. 8 Endicott for NCAA Tournament Opener Wednesday

INDIANAPOLIS - The Keene State College field hockey team will take on Endicott College in the opening round of the 2025 NCAA Division III Championship Tournament, it was announced by the national office Sunday night. The match will take place at Endicott Wednesday at 6 p.m.
 
The Owls enter the NCAA tournament with an overall record of 15-6 after securing the Little East Conference’s automatic berth in the NCAA tournament. Keene State was seeded second in last week’s conference tournament, defeating third-seeded University of Southern Maine and top-seeded Eastern Connecticut State University to repeat as conference champion.
 
The Gulls enter the NCAA tournament with a near-perfect overall record of 20-1, and are ranked eighth in last week’s NFHCA Division III Coaches’ Poll.
 
The winner of that contest will head to a four-team regional hosted by No. 2 Johns Hopkins University (19-1), against the winner of Wednesday’s First Round game between No. 9 Middlebury College (12-5) and Westfield State University (18-3). The Blue Jays will face the winner of the match between No. 16 Stevenson University (19-2) and No. 24 WPI (14-5).
