Yankee Ford LEC Field Hockey Athletes of the Week: October 20, 2025 10/20/2025 2:39:59 PM Offensive Player of the Week Grace Bazin (Westminster, Vt.) - Senior - Forward - Keene State Bazin continued her torrid scoring pace, scoring six goals on 13 shots (11 shots on goal) in a 1-1 week for the Owls. She scored four times in a 5-2 non-conference win at Clark before accounting for both of Keene State’s goals in a 4-2 league setback to Eastern Connecticut. Bazin’s 32 goals and 70 points are the most in NCAA Divisions I, II and III this season. She has accounted for just over half of the Owls’ 61 goals in 2025. Defensive Player of the Week Jaigan Boudreau (Dayton, Maine) - Senior - Back - Southern Maine Boudreau contributed on both sides of the field in the Huskies’ 2-0 league victory over Vermont State Castleton. She scored the game-winning goal on a penalty shot in the 43rd-minute, her only shot attempt of the match, while making a pair of defensive stops in the contest. Her first defensive save came in the eighth-minute and the second came just 30 seconds after she gave USM the lead. Boudreau leads the LEC and is No. 1 in the nation in defensive saves with 13 so far this season. Goalkeeper of the Week Shane Cueman (Glen Ridge, N.J.) - Sophomore - UMass Dartmouth Cueman totaled 37 saves while posting a .804 save percentage over two matches last week for the Corsairs. She stopped 17 shots at Johnson & Wales (R.I.) before turning away 20 shots in a league contest at Plymouth State, her third 20-save performance of the season. Cueman leads the LEC with 214 saves and is second in the league with a .787 save percentage. She ranks No. 1 in NCAA Division III in saves. Rookie of the Week Maddie Niles (Benton, Maine) - Freshman - Forward - Southern Maine Niles scored the insurance goal in the 57th-minute of the Huskies’ 2-0 league win at Vermont State Castleton on Saturday. It was her fifth goal of the season.
