Player of the Week
 
Sabanna Berrios (Providence, R.I.) - Sophomore - Forward - UMass Boston
Berrios was named the LEC Player of the Week after averaging 25 points and 13 rebounds per game in a 1-1 week for the Beacons, during which she shot 45 percent (21-of-47) from the floor and was 8-for-10 at the line. She opened the week netting a career-high 24 points and 13 rebounds in an 83-70 setback at Vermont State Castleton. Berrios followed up her career-best with another new benchmark, 26 points with 13 rebounds, three assists, two blocks and two steals in a 69-51 win at Eastern Connecticut.
 
Rookie of the Week
 
Shalyn Smith (Middletown, Conn.) - Freshman - Guard - Rhode Island College
Smith was named the LEC Rookie of the Week after averaging 15 points per game while shooting 58 percent (11-of-19) from the floor and 56 percent (5-of-9) from three in a 2-0 week for the Anchorwomen. She opened the week scoring 17 points in a 61-50 win over Eastern Connecticut before netting 13 points with four assists and two steals in a 91-66 rout of Vermont State Castleton.
