PROVIDENCE, R.I. - The Little East Conference announced its 2024 Men's Cross Country award recipients Thursday morning. Keene State College fifth-year senior Jake Velazquez was named the 2024 LEC Runner of the Year after winning the individual conference title with a time of 24:25.77.
Keene State College, led by head coach Dan Roark and assistant coach Tyler Klockars, were named the 2024 LEC Coaching Staff of the Year following a vote of the league's head coaches after the race. They guided the Owls to their LEC-record 16th conference championship, their first since 2015.
Eastern Connecticut State University freshman Sam Ambrocio was named the 2024 LEC Rookie of the Year as the top performing rookie runner at the conference meet. He placed eighth overall with his time of 26:20.14.
The 2024 All-Little East Conference honorees are below, listed by institution. The top-seven finishers at the conference championship earn First Team All-LEC honors, while the 8th through 14th-place finishers are named Second Team All-LEC.
