Diver of the Week
Natalie Donahue (Waterford, Conn.) - Senior - Keene State
Donahue was named the LEC Diver of the Week after she won both the one-meter and three-meter diving events with respective scores of 177.80 points and 181.65 points, heling lead the Owls to a 149-141 win over conference-rival Eastern Connecticut on Saturday.
Swimmer of the Week
Kiley Young (Winchendon, Mass.) - Senior - Keene State
Young was named the LEC Swimmer of the Week after she won the 100 backstroke (1:01.04), 200 backstroke (2:14.53) and 400 IM (4:48.76) to help lead the Owls to a 149-141 win over conference-rival Eastern Connecticut Saturday. She also contributed to the Owls’ winning 200 freestyle relay (1:44.89), with her split being 24.91.
Rookie Diver of the Week
Sophia Simoes (Watertown, Conn.) - Freshman - Western Connecticut
Simoes was named the LEC Rookie Diver of the Week after posting winning scores in the one and three-meter events, tallying 146.70 and 153.30, respectively, at a tri-match at UMass Dartmouth with Plymouth State on Saturday. In the Wolves dual meet against Mount St. Mary on Wednesday she posted a winning score of 117.75 in the one-meter and a total of 105.23 in the three-meter event.
Rookie Swimmer of the Week
Ava Wheeler (Morris, Conn.) - Sophomore - Eastern Connecticut
Wheeler, who is in her first collegiate season, was named the LEC Rookie Swimmer of the Week after winning the 500 (5:48.95) and 1,000 (11:55.43) freestyle events in the Warriors dual meet setback at Keene State Saturday.
