Swimmer of the Week
Logan Phillips (Keene, N.H.) - Senior - Keene State
Phillips was named the LEC Swimmer of the Week after he won two individual events and took the lead leg for the victorious 200 freestyle relay in the Owls’ 149-131 win over conference-rival Eastern Connecticut Saturday. He was first to finish in the 50 freestyle (22.96) and set a personal-best while winning the 100 freestyle in 50.17 seconds. He has a time of 23.70 for his leg of the 200 freestyle relay, which finished in first with a time of 1:31.18. Phillips also finished in a close second place in his other event, as he finished with a time of 55.92 in the 100 butterfly, just 0.29 seconds behind first place.
Rookie Swimmer of the Week
Nico Iannucci (Parsippany, N.J.) - Freshman - Eastern Connecticut
Iannucci was named the LEC Rookie of the Week after winning the 200 breaststroke (2:18.19), and taking third in the 200 butterfly (2:20.91) and 200 freestyle (1:54.64) in the Warriors dual meet versus conference-rival Keene State. He also swam the butterfly leg of the winning 200 medley relay (1:44.00).
Diver of the Week / Rookie Diver of the Week
Jayden Satir, Western Connecticut
Satir swept the LEC’s weekly diving awards after he posted winning scores of 226.60 points the one-meter board and 220.65 points on the three-meter board in the Wolves' 102-18 victory over Mount St. Mary College on Wednesday.
