PROVIDENCE, R.I. - For the fifth consecutive week and the sixth time overall this season, the Western Connecticut State University men’s lacrosse team remains among the team receiving votes the U.S. Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA) Division III Coaches’ Poll.
 
WestConn improved to 11-1 overall and 4-0 in the Little East Conference (LEC) after cruising to a pair of conference wins last week. WestConn opened the week with a 18-8 victory over cross-state rival Eastern Connecticut before topping Southern Maine 19-4 Saturday.
 
WestConn will next battle conference rival UMass Boston Wednesday night in Boston, with both teams entering the matchup undefeated in league play. It will then cap the week’s action against LEC newcomer Massachusetts Maritime Saturday at 1 p.m.
