PROVIDENCE, R.I. - Three standout Little East Conference women’s soccer players have been named 2021 All-Region selections by the United Soccer Coaches Association. The group includes Little East Conference major award recipients and three First Team all-LEC selections.
2021 LEC regular season and tournament champion Western Connecticut had a pair of selections - junior midfielder Myah Croze was named Second Team All-Region, while freshman forward Suzana Imetovski was a Third Team All-Region honoree. This is the first all-region honor for both players.
Croze was named the 2021 LEC Offensive Player of the Year and finished second in the nation in scoring with 27 goals and 61 points. Her eight game-winning goals tied her for third in the DIII. Imetovski was named LEC Rookie of the Year and finished among the league leaders in scoring with nine goals and 13 assists for 31 points. Her 13 tied her for fourth in Division III this season.
UMass Boston senior midfielder Allie Crawford was also named a Third Team All-Region selection, marking her third career appearance on a USC all-region team. The two-way threat was fourth on the Beacons in scoring with three goals and eight assists for 14 points, and helped lead UMass Boston to a runner-up finish in both the regular season standings and LEC tournament.
