The second-leading scorer in Plymouth State men’s soccer history, Brett Scaccia played three seasons in a Panther uniform, leading the team in scoring all three years and earning All-Little East Conference First Team honors. He ranks second on PSU’s career scoring list with 65 goals and 139 points, and was a First Team All-America and Little East Conference Player of the Year in 1997 after scoring 26 goals and leading the team to the NCAA Regional Final.

A native of Stratham, N.H., Scaccia transferred to Plymouth State in 1993 and led the team his first season with 16 goals, helping the Panthers to the ECAC post-season tournament. After missing ‘94 following an injury, he came back to score a team-high 21 goals in 1995, leading the Panthers to the NCAA Tournament and a 12-6-1 overall record.

After missing the ‘96 campaign with injuries, Scaccia returned to enjoy his final season in ‘97, scoring 26 goals, second-most in school history, and being named to the All-America First Team. He led the Panthers to a 14-3-2 record as the team advanced to the NCAA Regional Final.
