Jaymie Rosario Bercedoni is one of the most decorated women’s volleyball players in WestConn history as the program’s first three-time LEC Player of the Year and three-time First-Team All-LEC selection. She led the Colonials to three consecutive LEC regular season and tournament titles from 1999-2001, and three straight appearances in the NCAA Division III Championship Tournament.
The setter finished her career as Western Connecticut’s career leader in assists (3,167), and set the program’s then-single season assist (1,306) and service ace (100) records as a senior in 2001 on her way to earning All-Region honors from the American Volleyball Coaches Association.
Rasario Bercedoni went on to play professionally in Puerto Rico following the conclusion of her collegiate career.
