Warren Preti amassed 176 career wins and nine LEC titles as head men’s and women’s tennis coach at UMass Dartmouth, where he coached both programs for 10 of his 12 total seasons from 1989-2001. He posted a career record of 104-34-1 in 12 seasons leading the men’s tennis program, and guided the Corsairs to six consecutive LEC tournament titles from 1998-2001.
During that six-year championship run, UMass Dartmouth crowned 27 of 36 singles champions and 11 of 18 doubles champions. From 1989-98, Preti guided the women’s tennis team to a record of 72-53-1 and three straight LEC titles from 1996-98. The Corsairs won 12 of 18 singles titles and six of nine doubles titles during that stretch.
