Diana Duff was a two-time All-American on the hardwood in addition to earning one regional All-America honor on the softball diamond during her four years at Southern Maine. The 1988 LEC Women’s Basketball Player of the Year and two-time First-Team All-LEC selection led the Huskies to the LEC tournament title in each of the league’s first three seasons of play (1987-89).
Duff lead Southern Maine to four straight NCAA Division III Championship Tournament Appearances (1986-89), including the program’s first Final Four appearance in 1988. She is still ranked among the Huskies’ career leaders in scoring (1,170 point), scoring average (11.8), field goals made (482), field goal percentage (.484), three-point field goals made (81), three-point field goal percentage (.424), rebounds (659) and blocked shots (150).
In her only full softball season (1986), Diana hit .348 (30 for 86) with two doubles, six triples, one home run and 19 RBI while helping the team to the MAIAW state championship.
