Plymouth State earned the conference’s automatic berth in the NCAA tournament with their LEC title wins in 2004 and 2006, and reached the NCAA Division III Regional Final in 2004. The Panthers qualified for the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) New England Championship Tournament in 2005 and 2007, taking home the tournament title both times as MacDonald earned ECAC Championship Tournament Most Outstanding Player honors.
