Six LEC Women’s Volleyball Players Selected to Play in NEWVA Senior Classic

PAWTUCKET, R.I. – A total of six student-athletes representing five Little East Conference institutions have been selected to participate in the 2017 New England Women's Volleyball Association (NEWVA) Senior Classic. The festivities, which will be hosted by Emerson College December 3, will begin with skill competitions at 10:30 a.m. prior to the all-star match at 12:30 p.m.

Eastern Connecticut State University libero Michelle Valliere, and Plymouth State University setter Megan Bailey and outside hitter Claire Sporer will be members of the "Light Gray" team. Keene State College outside hitter Rachel Lamica, UMass Boston libero Macayla Chianco and University of Southern Maine outside hitter Jess Williamson will play as members of the "Dark Gray" team.

Participants were chosen by a vote of participating member coaches representing NCAA Division III women's volleyball programs throughout New England, following a nomination process.
