    BIDDEFORD, Maine 10/14/06-The Keene State women's volleyball team set a program record for victories (19) with a 3-0 win over UMaine-Farmington in its first match of the day at the University of New England Tournament on Saturday in Biddeford, Me. The Owls broke the previous mark of 18 set in the 1983 season. KSC lost 3-0 to the host Nor'easters in its second match.

    NORTH DARTMOUTH, Mass.—Rhode Island College junior setter Jeanne Rosa (Milford, Conn.) broke Kim Lebrun’s ’01 all-time school record for career assists in the Anchorwomen’s, 3-2, victory over UMass Dartmouth on Tuesday evening. Rosa needed just 15 helpers to break the mark, but totaled 25 assists in the five-game match. She now has 1,602 career assists through two-plus seasons of action.
