TRACK ATHLETE OF THE WEEK - Wadeline Jonathas (Gonaives, Haiti), Sophomore, UMass Boston

Jonathas was named Women's Track Athlete of the Week for the second consecutive week after winning the 100-meter dash with a time of 12.26 seconds at the Smith College Invitational. That time ranks 10th in Division III this season. She additionally won the long jump with a leap of 5.48 meters, which ranks 22nd in the nation.

FIELD ATHLETE OF THE WEEK - Destinee Barrette (Warwick, R.I.), Senior, Rhode Island College

Barrette was honored as LEC Field Athlete of the Week after winning the discus (49.08m), placing second in the hammer (48.78m) and taking sixth in the shot put (10.60m) at American International College's (Division II) Yellow Jacket Invitational. She ranks No. 1 in Division III in the discus, and No. 14 in the hammer.

TRACK ROOKIE OF THE WEEK - Shayna Cousineau (Cranson, R.I.), Rhode Island College

Cousineau was named LEC Track Rookie of the Week after placing fifth in the 10,000-meter run at American International College's (Division II) Yellow Jacket Invitational.

FIELD ROOKIE OF THE WEEK - Chelsea Yang (Warwick, R.I.), Freshman, Rhode Island College

Yang repeated as LEC Field Rookie of the Week after winning the hammer throw with a toss of 51.87 meters at American International College's (Division II) Yellow Jacket Invitational, which ranks her third in the nation.  

RELAY TEAM OF THE WEEK - 4x100-Meter Relay Team, Rhode Island College

Sophomore Jacklyn Xavier (Cumberland, R.I.), juniors Eleni and Nicole Grammas (Cranston, R.I.) and junior Melanie Brunelle (Warwick, R.I.) teamed up to win the 4x100 relay in 50.09 seconds at American International College's (Division II) Yellow Jacket Invitational.
