SWIMMER OF THE WEEK - Hope Walsh (Hamden, Mass.), Senior, Keene State

Walsh was named LEC Swimmer of the Week for the second time this season after taking third in the mile at the MIT Invitational in 17:28.73, good for an NCAA "B" cut. Her time is currently the 20th-fastest in Division III this season.

DIVER OF THE WEEK - Monique Groux (Agawam, Mass.) Junior, Westfield State

Groux was named LEC Diver of the Week for the third time this season after winning on the 1-meter board with a score of 173.75 points in the Owls' victory over UMass Dartmouth.

ROOKIE SWIMMER OF THE WEEK - Megan Lasto (Orange, Conn.) Freshman, Eastern Connecticut

Lasto was named LEC Rookie of the Week for the third time this season after leading Eastern with 36 points at the third annual Connecticut Cup. Lasto became the first Eastern swimmer to win an individual event at the meet when she outswam 11 competitors to capture the 400 individual medley in a time of 4:43.33, nearly four seconds ahead of Connecticut College junior All-America Maeve Wilber. She was second only to Conn College All-America Mary Erb in the 200 breaststroke (2:29.87) and also was second in the 200 IM (2:13.76).
