MEN'S TRACK ATHLETE OF THE WEEK - Sam Brunnette (Newport Center, Vt..), Junior, Plymouth State
Brunnette was named LEC Track Athlete of the Week for thr fiorst time after winning a pair of Little East Conference and New England Alliance titles, placing first overall in the mile run (4:21.18) and 3,000 meter run (8:42.50).
MEN'S FIELD ATHLETE OF THE WEEK - Jared Louf-Woods (Salem, Mass.), Senior, UMass Dartmouth
Louf-Woods was named LEC Field Athlete of the Week for the fourth time after claiming the LEC and NEA titles in the shot put (16.23m) and weight throw (19.23m). He set new conference and alliance records with those throws. He still ranks No. 1 in Division III in the weight throw, and now ranks ninth in the shot put.
MEN'S TRACK ROOKIE OF THE WEEK - Chandler Vincent (Pownal, Maine), Freshman, Southern Maine
Vincent was named Track Rookie of the Week after winning the LEC title and finishing NEA runner-up in the 5,000-meter run with his conference-record time of 15:24.33. He placed fifth overall and fourth in the LEC in the 3,000-meter run after finishing in 9:04.27.
MEN'S FIELD ROOKIE OF THE WEEK - Moisse Irizarry (Peabody, Mass.), Freshman, UMass Dartmouth
Irizarry was named LEC Field Athlete of the Week after winning the LEC championship and claiming NEA runner-up honors in the high jump after clearing 1.98 meters, and placing third in the LEC standings in the triple jump (13.34m). He was additionally the LEC and NEA champion in the 60-meter hurdles with a LEC-record time of 8.37 seconds.
MEN'S RELAY TEAM OF THE WEEK - 4 x 800-Meter Relay Team, UMass Dartmouth
UMass Dartmouth's 4x800 relay of sophomore Travis Dolcine (Somerville, Mass.), freshman Bruno Pires (New Bedford, Mass.), senior Tyree Gorham (Brockton, Mass.) and sophomore George Papoulis (Haverhill, Mass.) won the conference and alliance titles with their time of 8:12.06.
