MEN'S TRACK ATHLETE OF THE WEEK - Sam Brunnette (Newport Center, Vt.), Junior, Plymouth State

Brunnette was named LEC Track Athlete of the Week after the 5,000 meter run at Connecticut College's Silfen Invitational on Friday night, shattering a 40-year old school record in the process. He finished the race in 14:41.22, which is currently the 18th-fastest time in the country. He added a seventh-place finish in the 400 hurdles (1:06.76) the Penmen Relays.

MEN'S TRACK ROOKIE OF THE WEEK - Jimmy Cannon (Quincy, Mass.), Freshman, UMass Boston

Cannon was named LEC Track Rookie of the Week after winning the 5,000-meter run at Mt. Holyoke's Spring Fling with his time personal-best time of 16:26.69.

MEN'S FIELD ATHLETE OF THE WEEK - Jared Louf-Woods (Salem, Mass.), Senior, UMass Dartmouth

Louf-Woods was named LEC Field Athlete of the Week for the third straight week after winning the hammer (61.29m) and shot put (16.20m) at Westfield State's Jerry Gravel Invitational. His mark in the shot put moved him up to eighth in the nation this season. 

MEN'S FIELD ROOKIE OF THE WEEK - Terrell Lewis (Nashua, N.H.), Freshman, Plymouth State

Lewis was named LEC Field Rookie of the Week after winning the high jump (1.96m) and placing fifth in the long jump (6.42m) at Southern New Hampshire's Penmen Relays. He set a facility record in the high jump, as well as the 110 hurdles with his winning time of 15.39 seconds. 

MEN'S RELAY TEAM OF THE WEEK - 4x100-Meter Relay Team, Rhode Island College

UMass Boston's 4x100 relay, comprised of junior Bless Amedoadzi (Boston, Mass.), seniors Dom Nda (Pittsfield, Mass.) and Garth Miriyoga (Johannesburg, South Africa), and sophomore Stefan Powell (Hyde Park, Mass.) turned in the third-fastest time in Division III this season as they broke the tape first in 41.57 seconds at Mt. Holyoke's Spring Fling Saturday.
