Rogers was named LEC Track Athlete of the Week after winning the 100-meter dash (11.29) and placing fourth in the 200-meter dash (22.73) at American International College's (Division II) Yellow Jacket Invitational. He was the top DIII finisher in the 200.
MEN'S FIELD ATHLETE OF THE WEEK - Jared Louf-Woods (Salem, Mass.), Senior, UMass Dartmouth
Louf-Woods repeated as LEC Field Athlete of the Week after winning the hammer (62.01m) and shot put (15.77m) at UMass Dartmouth's Corsair Invitational. His mark in the shot put ranks him ninth in the nation this season.
MEN'S FIELD ROOKIE OF THE WEEK - Virgil Harrell III (Hamden, Conn.), Freshman, UMass Boston
Harrell was named LEC Field Rookie of the Week after winning the long jump at Smith College's Pioneer Invitational with a leap of 6.50 meters.
MEN'S TRACK ROOKIE OF THE WEEK - Bruno Pires (New Bedford, Mass.), Freshman, UMass Dartmouth
Pires was named LEC Track Rookie of the Week after winning the 3,000-meter steeplechase at UMass Dartmouth's Corsair Invitational. He crossed the finish line in 9:35.11, which was 15 seconds ahead of the second-place finisher.
MEN'S RELAY TEAM OF THE WEEK - 4x100 Relay Team, Rhode Island College
The Anchormen's 4x100 relay squad comprised of seniors Vincent Santos (Narragansett, R.I.) and Matt Charles (North Providence, R.I.), junior Destin Bibemi (Providence, R.I.) and freshman Cam Menefee (Bridgeport, Conn.) finished third with a time of 44.72 at American International College's (Division II) Yellow Jacket Invitational.
