WOMEN'S TRACK ATHLETE OF THE WEEK - Wadeline Jonathas (Gonaives, Haiti), Sophomore, UMass Boston

Jonathas repeats as LEC Track Athlete of the Week after winning the 200 meter dash with a time of 25.02 seconds (24.64 converted) at the RIC Winter Classic. That mark is currently the fastest in Division III and, after conversion, ties her for 10th-fastest in DIII history. 

WOMEN'S FIELD ATHLETE OF THE WEEK - Emily Close (Orleans, Vt.), Sophomore, Southern Maine

Close finished sixth among a field of 13 competitors with a career best 3,189 points; she was the lone DIII competitor and her point total ranked second in the nation. She equaled her career best mark in the high jump clearing 1.57 meters, had a personal best of 8.83 meters in the shot put and had a mark of 4.95 meters in the long jump. 

WOMEN'S TRACK ROOKIE OF THE WEEK - Shayna Cousineau (Cranston, R.I.), Freshman, Rhode Island College

Cousineau repeats as LEC Track Rookie of the Week after winning the 800 meter run with a time of 2:29.50 at her home RIC Winter Classic. She also ran the third leg on the third-place 4x800 meter relay (10:52.30).

WOMEN'S FIELD ROOKIE OF THE WEEK - Chelsea Yang (Warwick, R.I.), Freshman, Rhode Island College

Yang repeats as LEC Field Rookie of the Week after winning the weight throw with a toss of 15.81 meters at her home RIC Winter Classic. 

WOMEN'S RELAY TEAM OF THE WEEK - 4x200 Meter Relay Team, UMass Boston

The team of sophomore Ashley Hernandez (Miami, Fla.), senior Lexy Bean (Danvers, Mass.), and sophomore Wadeline Jonathas (Gonaives, Haiti) and Olivia Burnes (Paxton, Mass.) won the 4x200 meter relay at the RIC Winter Classic with a time of 1:47.26 seconds

MEN'S TRACK ATHLETE OF THE WEEK - Jared Marshall (Gloucester, Mass.), Junior, Southern Maine

Marshall was a double winner at the season-opening USM Open I meet, taking the 55-meter dash in 6.62 seconds and the 200 meter dash in 22.90 seconds. Marshall's times met the New England DIII Championships qualifying standards in both events. 

MEN'S FIELD ATHLETE OF THE WEEK - Ron Helderman (Madison, Maine), Senior, Southern Maine

Helderman won the pole vault at the USM Open I meet by clearing 4.90 meters (16-0 ¾). Helderman's mark ranks first in the nation this season. 

MEN'S TRACK ROOKIE OF THE WEEK - Chandler Vincent (Pownal, Maine), Freshman, Southern Maine

Vincent was a double winner at the season-opening USM Open I meet taking the 5,000 meter run (15:28.88) by more than 24 seconds and the 3,000 meter run (9:09.44). Vincent's time in the 5,000 met the New England Division III Championships qualifying standard. 

MEN'S FIELD ROOKIE OF THE WEEK - Kyle Farrar (Rumford, Maine), Freshman, Southerm Maine

Farrar was the top collegiate finisher at the USM Open I meet in the long jump (third, 6.34 meters) and the triple jump (second, 13.15 meters). Farrar's triple jump mark met the qualifying standard for the New England Division III Championships in February. 

MEN'S RELAY TEAM OF THE WEEK - 4x400 Meter Relay Team, Keene State

Junior Roland Galberth (New Haven, Conn.), freshman Josh Bloom (Bar Harbor, Maine), sophomore Cam Labrie (Tamworth, N.H.) and freshman Zach Hoyle (Sidney, Maine) won the 4x400 relay at the USM Open I with a time of 3:31.87.
