Owl manager Mark Theriault was named the Coach of the Year, while University of Southern Maine junior Dylan Kenney (Portland, Maine) was tabbed as the Defensive Player of the Year to complete the major awards program.

When a spot opened up with the USA All-Stars in early June and he was extended an invitation to join the elite travel team for an 11-day tour to Manchester, England, Eastern Connecticut State University men’s lacrosse goalie Donald Berube never hesitated. “I was trying to save up enough money this summer to buy a car to bring to school (in September),” said Eastern’s soon-to-be sophomore goalie, “but I said ‘I can get a car anytime. I’d rather spend my money on this. I just couldn’t turn it down. I’m never going to have a chance to do this again.’”
