PAWTUCKET, R.I. – Four men's lacrosse players representing four Little East Conference (LEC) member institutions have been selected to participate in the 2018 New England Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (NEILA) East-West All-Star game, which will take place June 1 at Southern New Hampshire University's Penmen Stadium. The start time for the game, which will feature seniors from all three NCAA Divisions, is 6:30 p.m.
Western Connecticut defender Kevin Keiser (Danbury, Conn.) and Eastern Connecticut defender Brendan Klett (West Hartford, Conn.) have been selected to play on the West Team, while UMass Boston long stick midfielder Jack Dillon (Barrington, R.I.) and Plymouth State midfielder Drew Lederer (Jefferson, Mass.) will play for the East Team.
Kaiser played in each of the Colonials 15 games this season, picking up 29 ground balls and causing 18 turnovers, while Klett picked up 25 ground balls and caused 14 turnovers in the Warriors' 17 games played.
Dillon totaled 66 ground balls and 35 caused turnovers in his 11 games played for the Beacons in 2018, while contributing four goals and three assists at the other end of the field. Lederer saw action in all 18 games in his final season at Plymouth State, totaling 13 goals and five assists for 18 points.
