PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Eastern Connecticut State University’s Caroline Goderre earned Little East Conference (LEC) Women’s Golf Golfer of the Year and Rookie of the Year honors, while Keene State College’s Jeff Timmer was named Coach of the Year following the 2026 LEC Championship, held October 24–25 at Tekoa Country Club in Westfield, Massachusetts.
Goderre also earned First Team All-Conference recognition, joining the championship’s top five finishers. Golfers placing sixth through 10th received Second Team All-Conference honors.
Goderre finished the two-day tournament at 144, two strokes over par, to claim the individual title by 19 strokes. After opening with a 75, she carded a two-under-par 69 in the final round, breaking the women’s course record at Tekoa Country Club by one stroke.
Keene State’s Madi Mousley finished second with a 163, following an opening-round 86 with a 77 on Sunday. The University of Southern Maine’s Remy Levin placed third at 168, shooting rounds of 86 and 82.
Eastern Connecticut’s Daria Fournier and Keene State’s Abby Weiterman rounded out the First Team. Fournier finished fourth with a 174 after rounds of 81 and 93, while Weiterman placed fifth at 175 with rounds of 89 and 86.
Husson University accounted for three of the five Second Team selections. Abigail Theriault finished sixth at 187, Caroline Chausse placed seventh at 188, and Alison Mitchell tied for ninth at 192. Keene State’s Mackenzie Hagearty finished eighth with a 190, while Rhode Island College’s Mya Linchitz joined Mitchell in a tie for ninth at 192.
Timmer guided Keene State to the team championship with a two-round total of 721, finishing 35 strokes ahead of runner-up Eastern Connecticut. The Owls improved upon their opening-round 370 with a tournament-best team round of 351 on Sunday.
Keene State and Husson each had three All-Conference selections, Eastern Connecticut had two, and Southern Maine and Rhode Island College each had one.
